This 1/32 decal sheet features
2 different USN F-8C Crusaders.....including a MiG Killer.
- F-8C 146961 on 5-24-68
at NAS Miramar with VF-111. This was ten days prior to departing
on it's MiG killing cruise. The aircraft was the mount of LT Joe
Thompson and had TIGER painted in white on the red tail stripe.
LT Anthony Nargi would be flying her on 98-19-68 when he would use a
AIM-9 Sidewinder to down a MiG-21. This jet features hi-viz
markings with a sharks mouth on the nose.

Bird. This jet features hi-viz markings with a
hotrod type flame job on the nose.
Markings
are contained on 3 decals sheets. Package also includes 2 pages of
instructions. Paint
color codes are called out mostly in FS numbers. A
full set of stencils is
included.....lots of stencils. One
page of instructions includes 4 view line drawings showing the placement
for each of the many stencils.
